Beaufort Wine & Food Weekend chosen as Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events for April 2016!
The Southeast Tourism Society has Beaufort Wine and Food one of the STS Top 20 Event in the Southeast for April, 2016.
This year’s Beaufort Wine and Food signature festival will take place is April 27 – May 1, 2016. The STS Top 20 Festival and Event Awards have highlighted programs around the Southeast since 1985.
Travel industry experts select 20 events per month, and STS publicizes them throughout the United States. The complete list is published on two websites: EscapeToTheSoutheast.com and Travel Media Press Room.
Beaufort Wine and Food is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and proceeds from its events benefit non-profits that excel in community enrichment and enhance quality of life in Carteret County.
Beaufort Wine and Food began as a weekend event in April 2004 and has evolved into an organization that holds fund raising events year round. BWF has raised over $525,000 since its inception to donate to area non-profits. Memberships were initiated in 2013 to encourage continuing participation and to acknowledge those who regularly attend and support the fundraising events. Beaufort Wine and Food currently has over 300 members.
