Beaufort Wine and Food’s 4th Annual Oyster Roast

Beaufort Wine & Food is pleased to spotlight North Carolina’s coastal & culinary heritage with its 4th annual oyster roast, Saturday, November 4th 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. The event will be held at Beau Coast on Turner Creek, off Lennoxville Road.

Beaufort Wine and Food is celebrating its forth annual Oyster Roast, taking place at Beau Coast, off Lennoxville Road from 2 – 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4.

The site will offer guests outstanding views of Davis Bay while celebrating North Carolina’s coastal and culinary heritage.

The gathering celebrates the bounty of Eastern NC cuisine and will feature local steamed oysters, shrimp and other seafood selections along with North Carolina pork and poultry.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Beaufort Boys & Girls Club and other Beaufort organizations.

In addition to steamed oysters, guests can enjoy a variety of local seafood provided by Joe Darden Seafood, Blue Ocean Market, Fishtowne Seafood, Mr. Big Seafood, and many more.

Guest chef and pitmaster Wayne Johnson, owner of Johnson Family BBQ in Durham will wood-fired whole hog BBQ and chicken – both dishes just won awards during Beaufort Wine and Food’s Beer Bubbles and BBQ competition in September.
Also working on a variety of menu items will be chefs Charles Park of Beaufort Grocery Co. and Anthony Garnett of Blue Ocean Market.
Both chefs are long time supporters of Beaufort Wine and Food and when not running their respective kitchens can be found working with the Carteret Community College Escoffier culinary program.

Guests can enjoy entertainment in the form of live music by the Beaufort Blues Project, a silent auction, roasting s’mores on a fire pit and hayrides leading to the event site.
