Full Brewery Lineup for Beaufort’s Brewin’ Announced

Beaufort's Brewin Craft Beer Festival

Are you sitting down? The brewery lineup for our first annual Beaufort’s Brewin’ Craft Beer Festival might be enough to knock you off your feet. On September 23rd and 24th, our favorite names in craft beer are coming to Fishtowne for a weekend of flights and breezy fall nights.

Hailing from Fuquay Varina, and winner at The Carolinas Championship of Beers, Aviator Brewing Co. practices the mantra, “Beer is your friend.” You just might find your new BFF in HogWild IPA, CrazyPils, or Black Mamba Oatmeal Stout. Catawba Brewing brings Colorado and North Carolina together for a delightful collection of cream ales, IPAs, and more. If you’ve been to Charlotte recently, you may have had the chance to experience Triple C Brewing in the South End. If not, plan a trip to Beaufort this September to try a glass at the craft beer festival!

Take a break from beer and experience one of our favorite flavors of fall: hard cider. With more than 75 awards, Bold Rock Cider offers a crisp and refreshing taste courtesy of locally picked apples.

Tarheels, unite! Since 1995, Carolina Brewery has been a Franklin Street staple in Chapel Hill, born from a third generation UNC alumnus. 21 years later, we’re looking forward to award-winning brews like Oatmeal Porter and Sky Blue Golden Ale at the 2016 Beaufort’s Brewin’ Craft Beer Festival.

Full steam ahead! Fullsteam Brewing is coming to Beaufort to educate us on “Southern beer,” brews dedicated to pairing well with your favorite Southern dishes, celebrating seasonality, and cherishing local terroir. Speaking of, some true Southern rebels were single-handedly responsible for opening up the craft beer market in Greensboro. The founders of Gibb’s Hundred Brewing Company approached the city to propose making Greensboro more open to microbreweries, and today, run the town’s brewery and tap room. Look for them this September at the craft beer festival.
