In conjunction with the grand opening, a Masters Bordeaux seminar will be held on Saturday July 1 at 2:00 pm featuring Laure Levesque from Queen of Wines. Ms. Levesque recently returned from l’Ecole du Vin de Bordeaux, France where she earned a Masters Bordeaux Trainer certification. “This is a comprehensive seminar that teaches the history, climate, appellations and winemaking techniques of the Bordeaux region,” said Ms. Levesque. “Guests will gain a greater understanding and appreciation for these beautiful wines.”
Alongside Ms. Levesque, our master class will feature selected Hors d’oeuvres from local chefs Charles Benjamin Park of Beaufort Grocery Co., Anthony Garnett of Blue Ocean Market and Jayson Foster of Aqua. The event will take place at 129 Middle Lane with limited tickets available for sale.
Tickets are $25 and may be purchased by calling 252-515-0708, stopping by the Beaufort Wine and Food office at 129 Middle Lane or online.
Additionally, proceeds from the Beaufort Wine and Food Wine Store will go towards Beaufort Wine and Food’s ongoing mission to enrich life in Carteret County. Since the organization’s inception in 2004, almost $600,000 has been donated to charity and non-profits serving the Crystal Coast.
