Cheers to all who came out to support Beaufort Wine and Food’s inaugural craft beer festival, Beaufort’s Brewin’ Sept. 23-24.
Though there’s always some sense of uncertainty with any new event, the festival was an all around success and we could not be happier with the outcome.
The outpouring of support from the participants, volunteers, and our media partners was incredible and we are forever grateful to each and every business, organization and individual who supported the event. I’d like to extend a special thanks to area businesses for always being supportive of Beaufort Wine and Food’s efforts to raise funds for our local charities and being a critical component in its overall success not only for our first beer festival, but for the events we host throughout the year.
The Runnin’ on Empty Road Race saw almost 200 registered runners for its inaugural race! Complete with celebratory beer (root beer for runners under 21) and awards handed out on the patio at the Backstreet Pub, we are looking forward to building on the race for next year.
Runners of all levels, be sure to mark your calendars for Sept. 30th, 2017 to come out and run for a good cause for the race’s second year!
Beer, Bubbles and BBQ – Enjoyed a crowd of over 500, with live music, BBQ competition and over 20 craft breweries in attendance. A huge thank you to all involved in making the headline event for the festival weekend such a huge success!
A special thank you to the event sponsor – Front Street Village. The vision and support of Bucky and Wendi Oliver and their amazing team provide the venue and amenities that so many of our guests are able to enjoy during events.
